Lil' Preacher Man...

Kael is going to grow up to be a preacher man.

He ADORES saying prayers right now. He takes a big breath and clasps his big bear paw hands together in the cutest of fashion and imploring asks at least twenty times a day,
"PAYER, PAYER?"

He asks to pray over "Cracks" and "Joo" (crackers and juice).
He prays when we get in the car... which Ryno blames on me and my driving skills.
Whatev.
He prays multiple times at every single meal or really any time he passes by his chair.
He even asks to pray in restaurants, which is sweet and embarrassing, because really, only a prayer will appease our little Saint (just ask my sister who literally turned beet red as she bowed her head to pray to make our little rotund man beam with pleasure. Now that I think of it, maybe he knows EXACTLY what he's doing and it cracks him up that everyone goes along with his little shenanigans... mmmm.)

I've told people that Kaelster is a healer... a medicine man of sorts. Because, really, would you ever believe that RyGar and I struggled with "unexplained infertility" looking at our little family now? Yeah, my point exactly. The kid has sorcerer's powers.

So when our little man of the cloth tells us to pray - We pray.
Amen, Little Man. :)

That is so cute. My kids have the BIGGEST FIGHTS over who gets to say the prayer at dinner or at night. It would be funny if it wasn't so annoying.

Your summer boys are so dang cute. The camo man in the back would have freaked me out too....glad the weather provided appropriate testing scheme. But the "Payer" thing is just adorable...do you just kiss their cheeks off everyday?! They are too cute!

And AHHHH....You too? When?

It's like that old Eurythmics song, "Don't mess with a Missionary Man!" That is such a sweet post.
