Let There Be Light...

Fourteen years of marriage and three kiddos later, RyGar finally made it to the
Richfield City Light Parade.
I like to think that all that anticipation must have made this, his first experience, totally amazing. In truth... it was these little loves of ours that made the whole night magical.

You should have seen them waving their mittened hands as if their lives depended on it to every float that passed us by -- whole-heartedly wishing them a, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
For obvious reasons here were their top floats:
The Tank... because they all aspire to be army guys in the future.
The Home Depot truck... because duh.  Just look at it!
And finally, the Coca Cola truck complete with Santa in his sleigh on top.
I can't tell if Grandma Gail was happy to have us there or not.  She's a keeper.  :)
After the parade we thought we'd pile in Grandpa's truck and make the quick trip to see THE house on the hill that is lit to the nines.  Turns out it was all just a bit much for our littlest elf.
But man, he wears that buffalo check hat with the ear flaps well, eh?
Christmas... I kiss yo face!  And Richfield... you know there is no other place I love more.
And Mom & Dad... you're the hostesses with the mostest-es.
XO

So great, was it everything you remember? I kind of wish they still had the hot tub on the Peterson Plumbing float...remember that? So cool.
