LOVE is about bottomless empathy.
Empathy: the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts and emotions of another.
Unfortunately, they are all familiar with what it feels like to be in "time out". Fortunately, they usually sit with one another when the punishment has been issued like dutiful brothers.
And it slays me dead.
In the best possible way.

Oh, poor little Kael! It is so nice of his brudders to keep in company. (I kind of wish my kids were at least a little bit sad about going to time-out. I guess they have become more immune to them over time.)
