Wild Animals...

We took a little trip to the zoo this week. Believe it or not, these two little dudes are not beginners there. And they don't act like it either.

When they're feelin' it they can be heard yelling "YION" at the little lion drinking fountains and "ZERD" when they see the lizards at the reptile house. And when they're not, you can still see them scanning the leafy greens to find something hanging out in the foliage like little master hunters. It is fairly adorable. Spotting the giraffes, rhinos and elephants was a cake walk for our seasoned pros.

Summary: Zoo Trip = Success.
We did, of course, become a sweaty, mass of melty sweetness due to our sticky weather. But Grandma sponsored the morning and even footed the bill for the train ride, which was a huge hit for all the entire clan...
almost as popular as lunch.

And THIS was our only moment of drama... for obvious reasons. I saw this after zooming in on one of the group shots and had to share.

Perhaps Kael was feeling a little bit "animalistic" in his surroundings? There were tears - from both parties after a little discipline that followed suit. Ah... our basic animal instincts. They're a hard thing to master for a two-year-old.
Heaven help us.
