Of Snowmen & Santa...

Before this past weekend blurs into the current one may I bring to "le blog" the magic of Snowmen and Santa.  I won't even apologize for color coordinating everything - even their outwear because look, Grandma & Grandpa were feeling the theme too: red & black with buffalo check all over.
And so, without further ado, the building of two little snowmen with Grandma & Grandpa.
And the pure joy that is loading that second ball of snowy ice atop another.
Disclaimer:  Kael is not smoking but rather eating what is probably his third sucker of the morning at the ripe old hour of, oh, ten am?  He's like a junior Elf -- He sticks to the four main food groups:  Candy, Candy Canes, Candy Corns & Syrup and Grandma is his biggest enabler.
The application of every snowman's eyes is actually deceivingly tricky and requires your best concentration face as demonstrated by Dax.  Dang rocks that don't really stay in.
And the finished product.  We called them Grandma & Grandpa so it was only fitting that Grandpa donned some hunter orange.  And if we could have we would have put some chocolate in his pie hole because, whelp, if the shoe fits.  :)
And then we were off to see SANTA!  And dude, they totally know that guy!
He was the real deal... so darn sweet and took all the time in the world to listen to the deepest desires of their little hearts.  "Swoonworthy Santa" seems appropriate, really.
Dax was a little nervous for some reason but carried on like a big man and then quickly wished Santa a Merry Christmas and climbed down in record time.
And Kael & Santa got into a deep discussion about pocket knives but my six-year-old finished with flair, "Whatever kind you bring me will be good, Santa."
I think their little lists are so cute this year:
Kael wants a BB Gun, a Pocket Knife, and Baseball Stuff including more cards for his collection.
Dax wants a BB Gun, a Pocket Knife and a Remote Control BB-8 from Star Wars... (which spurned a recent frantic search since he called it a "Rolly Ball" in his letter to Santa and there was some mass confusion.)  Holy Blood Pressure.
Ace wants a new Bike, a Pocket Knife and a computer.
That there is a group of well-rounded fellers I'd say.
We tried and mostly failed to take a post-church selfie.  The boys were SO good at church Grandma told them they could go karate chop the snowmen - and we didn't have to tell them twice.
Poor little Grandma & Grandpa Snowman.  ;)
And now it's a winter wonderland at our house.  My grateful little heart is bursting at the seams with love for glowing lights and Christmas music and coordinating holiday pajamas and my people who are working like little elves to spread Christmas cheer to friends and neighbors.
Man let's just do it - Christmas Forever!  Please & Thank You.
