FINALLY Falling...

You guys, the old bitty that lives inside me, who has been lamenting our winter snow pack conditions, can finally feel some relief.  It SNOWED!  Like a lot.  Here in the valley (in a matter of minutes) we had about five inches.  It came all at once with whipping winds and will probably be gone by nightfall.
But who was there ready to shovel their brains out?
You guessed it - my little snow removal crew of three - err - four with me.
They say it will be sixty degrees again by the weekend.  Which means those same little faces will be out chasing kites and riding scooters without the beanies and boots.  That's one reason to love spring in the Rockies... one minute you wanna build a snowman and the next you're lounging on the lawn letting the sun's rays warm your shoulders.
And maybe we'll be able to fill up the back yard swimming pool come July thanks to this heavy white stuff.  Cheers to that.  Thanks, spring.  We'll have another.
And this... which is pure glee because I told them they could pelt me with snowballs on the count of three.  Anything for three smiles in the frame, you know...
