Fun in Trips...

Three things to love about Labor Day Weekend at the now famous,
"Grampa's Red House"...

Number One...
Baby Love and Uncle "Gosh's" new puppy.
There are reasons that the nursery rhyme about little boys includes "puppy dog tails".

Could you DIE?

He was literally so happy he was about to burst.
Or maybe squeeze the guts out of his little friend.

And then we took the pup away because someone was a little too rough.

But cousin Sophia came to the rescue.  "Hey, Acey wants the puppy," she said.  "I go get him."
What a sweet little mama, Sophie.

Number Two...
Kaelster and Dax Man and the Wheelers.
In motion or not.
Little or big.
Red or "yewow".

Sometimes it's hard to share the drivers seat.

OK, most times, it's hard to share the driver's seat.

Sometimes I want to sing a la Tommy Boy, "Big gal on a little wheeler".

But can you focus on the fact that my pint sized, future X-Gamers
are so dang happy atop a motorized vehicle?

And maybe remember that it really is a teeny, tiny wheeler?  :)

 Number Three...
Proof that play is work... and my littles work HARD.

Dax fell asleep while sitting on the couch, watching a movie and drinking some apple juice.
How does one do that?
Teach me, Daximus.

Wyatt might have caught himself a few extra Zzzs too.
Crawdad fishin' will do that to boys.

And now we're back and we've been fed,

Bathed,

And Bejammied.

Because you know what?
It's a school night y'all.
Holy Crap....
Wish us luck!
