For the record I had every intention of blogging the past few days. But for a glimpse into our world: This week alone we have five practices and seven games spread out amongst three boys and three sports. I woke up Monday morning already tired and dreaming of Friday evening. Which is lame because there are still three soccer games on Saturday morning. :)
Anyway - I've been a hunters' widow as Ryan was out in the mountaintops listening to the elk bugle and tracking a big one down for Grandpa Hooky. He took Kael out one weekend and Dax out another weekend and they returned to me with hairs on their chests and a strut in their step. ;) I don't know what goes on out there but I'm sure glad their Dad takes so much time growing them.
They are pretty lucky.
Just like their Grandpa. :)
Boone is not potty training officially but he is somewhat interested and definitely bothered when he does a number is his britches so we're warming up to the idea and it is downright adorable.
We also spend our fair share of time practicing spelling words each week and completing math worksheets and generally doing our best to help those spongey brains soak up ALLLL the things.
Ace Face just wears his "thinking glasses" when he is really feelin' it.
Loving the transition from one season to the next. Feeling the breeze coming through the window screens and taking the house temperature down a few notches is a refreshing change of pace.
Cheers to fall and not losing our marbles as we fully immerse ourselves into all things little boy.
XO
