My sweet mother-in-law came to visit the littles last week, and of course, the littles went into "show off overdrive" and just HAD to show Grandma how spectacularly they can ride their "big bwu four-wheewers". And Grandma, like the good egg that she is, played right along and donned her jacket and prepared for the brisk walk around the block to chaperone the littlest BMXers of the hood.
When she returned she told me she, "caught a glimpse of the pre-existence" while trailing behind my little buddies. Dax avoided a tempting pile of snow and Kael and all his horse power attempted to plow through it and got stuck. This meant that Dax Man could forge ahead further down the sidewalk and Kael just couldn't bare the thought of his little brother making it to the corner before he did. Kaelster cried out, "STOP, Daxi! Wait for K-O!" And little Daximus turned around and saw his big brother in distress and calmly assured, "OK, KO. Daxi will wait for you."
Janice conveyed this little story to us and confirmed, "I just know that these boys were getting ready to come down to Earth and Kael couldn't stand the thought of being left behind and he firmly pleaded for his brother to wait and let him go ahead. To which the little brother agreed but only for a mili-second... he couldn't be too far behind."
And this littlest one, who thinks he is one of the twiblings, also pinkie swore that he would be just two nano-seconds behind both of his big brothers. And here they all are. Like three little piglets, frolicking in the mud together and taking in every aspect of every quasi-spring day here in the Rockies.
Sigh.
How does one lady get so lucky?
I will never ever know.
But I'll never stop feeling it here on the 3rd rock from the sun.
