We are soaking in fall. It's been a busy couple of days around here, so much so that I'm debating whether we pack up bags for fall break and do something extraordinary, {which will involve meeting up with the Mister -- HOORAY} or not do a thing, since it seems every day has been a happy little concoction of exciting and exhausting. Oh the conundrum!
A brief "Enjoying Report"...
Enjoying, Pumpkins. 'Tis the season of the gourd you know. And having amazing grandparents means getting to carve your pumpkin LONG before Halloween.
It also means you're introduced to tiny battery powered "candles" complete with the flickering effect. It's basically magic in a happy smiling pumpkin is what it is... Or complete awe & amazement.
Enjoying a little post-nap snuggle with your closest cousin. Sometimes I get to have these two together and I get bombarded with the "Are they twins?" question... and I secretly wish. Because having one of them is the best kind of good but two of them might be out of this world.
Enjoying exuberant leaf and flower collecting which is at it's peak. I am showered with "gifts" all day long. It's because I'm the luckiest and he is the sweetest.
Man Cub explorations. He thought he had summited Everest here. Granted it was a rock retaining wall, but it's all in the eye of the beholder, you know?
Dressing up like Hipsters. {Name that Tune... GO!} OK, really, but when we put his warm underthings on for a particularly cold and windy soccer day, his little eyes danced and he proclaimed, "I'm Batman now, huh Mommy!"
Enjoying watching the happiest dang dog in the entire Universe and his trio of adoring little humans.
Enjoying the return of the fuzzy warm footie jammies and flannel sheets. And now we add enjoying sleeping with fake candles courtesy of Grandma & Grandpa.
Enjoying the return of the beanies. My Dad calls them "toques" - is that even a real word or just one of his originals? Whatever you call them - they are my favorite on these little noggins.
And now it is time to bake something so my house positively wreaks of fall.
Pumpkin muffins... anyone?
Happy Hump Day.
